Statistics: Russia’s inflation remains at zero in Aug 25 –Mon

MOSCOW, Sep 2 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation remained at zero from August 25 through Monday, and reached 2.9% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.

Sugar prices rose by 0.6%, black tea and buckwheat prices were flat.

Fruit and vegetable prices decreased by 2.9% on average.

Automobile gasoline and diesel fuel prices remained flat.
